New gateway will not allow me to reserve an ip address. it appears to be doing the request, but does not do it. just reverts back to DHCP sretting. It is a smaller triangular device.

Update: Reserved settings operational for other devices, just not the Printer. Do not know why. Printer set to static IP. Hope this works. Brother Printer quite old.
Same issue even year later. Also, if you try to do this again, just seconds later, you get different error that IP has already been reserved

First, I just want to confirm you are not trying to use a Static IP. This option is only available for our Comcast Business customers. Do you have a business or residential account with us?
