Terminating Service

Hello,

I just spoke to a very unhelpful person on the phone to go about terminating service. I asked again and again if there were any options to avoid the early termination fee. He said not unless I was drafted in the military or if I died. That is ridiculous. He also told me I missed my 30 day period to cancel the contract by 1 day and that there was nothing he could do about it. I understand that the contract is what it is, but I am having to move due to COVID and happen to be moving into an area where Xfinity does not offer service. Why should I face a penalty for the fact that the company does not offer service in the area?

Regardless of why you're moving you are the one breaking the contract, not Comcast.  The ETF is valid.

Correct information on Early Termination Fees can be found here.
