Notification of Maintenance

I work from home every other week and for the second time in the last month or two maintenance has been done during the day that can cause service outages. Is there any way possible I can have some notification or something of when this is going to happen?

Hello Kraziace. Apologies that you were impacted by a service interruption. We make every effort to perform any maintenance that is service impacting during off peak hours, in effort to minimize interruption to our customers. We invite you to use the Xfinity Status Center to check for service interruptions, and to select notifications during an interruption, to be notify when they are resolved. If you've registered your mobile phone number for Comcast Alerts, you can text OUT to 266278 (COMCST) to check for interruptions in your area. (Data and messaging rates may apply.) You also have the option to receive a text message update as soon as your Xfinity services are restored.


You can also check for interruptions using the Xfinity My Account app on your mobile phone. After you log in, a banner appears immediately if you're impacted by an interruption. Simply tap it to get more details.
